  • Identity Data: Full Name, National ID Number (for membership verification), Date of Birth, and Gender.

  • Contact Data: Email address, Phone number, and physical address (P.O. Box/Residence).

  • Professional Data: County and Sub-County of operation, Community Health Unit (CHU) Name, year started as a CHP, and active status.

  • Financial Data: If you make a donation, we (or our third-party payment processors) collect payment details. Note: ACHVO-K does not store your full credit card or bank account details on our servers.

B. Non-Personal Information

We automatically collect certain information when you visit our website, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, and browsing behavior (pages visited). This helps us improve our website’s performance and user experience.

We use the data we collect for the following specific purposes:

  • Membership Management: To verify your identity as a Community Health Promoter, process your membership application, and coordinate activities with your specific County Chapter.

  • Advocacy & Policy: To aggregate demographic data (e.g., “We represent 5,000 CHPs in Turkana”) to influence policy and legislation like the Community Health Service Act Bill. We do not share individual National IDs with the government without your explicit consent.

  • Communication: To send you newsletters, updates on training opportunities (like the AIM initiative), and invitations to county forums or workshops.

  • Donation Processing: To process your financial contributions and send donation receipts.

  • Security: To detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized access to our systems.

  • County Chapter Leaders: Your contact and professional details may be shared with the ACHVO-K Chapter leadership in your specific county to facilitate local coordination and networking.

  • Service Providers: We may share data with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate our website, process payments (e.g., M-Pesa integrations), or send emails. These parties are bound by confidentiality agreements.

  • Strategic Partners: We may share aggregated, anonymized data with partners like the Ministry of Health or the Community Health Impact Coalition (CHIC) to demonstrate our impact.
